Working at Mercoline

There are a few good reasons to make Mercoline your next work home.

Choosing your first job or deciding to switch careers in order to tackle new challenges and tasks can be a truly life-changing decision. Maybe karriere@mercoline.de is the right address for you...

Our Work

Creativity with a smile

As an IT company, quality and flexibility are driving factors in what we do. At Mercoline, we provide the space and opportunity for meeting those standards. In addition to affording ample space for promoting creativity, our modern workstations overlooking Lake Tegel are an ideal setting for innovation and job performance.

Starting out

We provide excellent development opportunities for career starters and experienced professionals alike. Depending on your position, you’ll be involved in executing and supervising exciting customer-related projects right from the start, just as you’ll encounter recurring opportunities to advance to team or project lead.

Our work centres around promoting a positive team spirit and a congenial work environment. New employees are immediately integrated and quickly find their feet.

It’s great to know that not only do we have specialists in the company, but also that they can be easily reached for advice at any time. New ideas are always eagerly welcomed, discussed with the team and, if applicable, implemented.

Working in Berlin

Our company headquarters are located in a modern, airy new building in the Top Tegel business park. Easy access to our Berlin-Tegel location via public transportation and proximity to central Berlin make for an ideal combination that capitalises on Berlin’s appeal.

Life in Berlin is exciting and vibrant. That’s why I really enjoy the peace and quiet of my workplace, where I can see herons flying past the window in the mornings. And lunch in the cafeteria looking out over the lake is always enjoyable. Getting to and from work is easy with Berlin’s underground U-Bahn system or the nearby highway. In fact, you could actually even come by boat!

Co-Workers and the Work Environment

Community and dedication

Between our motivational team spirit and a strong feel for market needs, our team is able to consistently develop innovative solutions. By executing projects to the highest standards of service, we are constantly reaffirming our customers’ confidence. A flat hierarchy system plays a key role in enabling us to create solutions quickly without unnecessary red tape.

Creative breaks and exchanges

Our in-house cafeteria offers a balanced daily lunch selection with something for everyone, and employee lunch expenses are subsidized. The office features designated spaces for employees to meet up and talk shop as well as a coffee machine in the kitchen for quick breaks. Our congenial atmosphere extends beyond the workplace to team trips, our annual summer celebration, holiday party and other occasions.

What We Also Offer

Ideal working conditions

No one knows how to divide up your work hours more effectively than you. That’s why we offer flexible work models to fit your lifestyle, including full-time, part-time, parental leave and work breaks. Home office work is also possible in consultation with fellow co-workers. We grant additional leave for special occasions like marriages, births, moving, anniversaries and more. Creativity needs space, so our offices are spacious and well-lit, and there’s no dress code. Interested employees can take advantage of our broad spectrum of advanced training and educational opportunities. After all, in a fast-paced technological field like ours, training is an important aspect of our specialised expertise.

Health and retirement

Our company’s retirement plan helps support employees as they prepare for life after the workplace. Our employees’ health is important to us, too. We provide a number of health-enhancing measures such as weekly back training sessions with a professional coach and annual flu shots.

I enjoy being able to flexibly arrange my work schedule and have the option of working from home. That way, I can strike an ideal balance between work and family life.

Kay Schröder, Communication & Integration Consultant

Sure, everyone loves relaxing at home. But business travel also gives you plenty of new things to talk about. It’s great that Mercoline shows its appreciation for this kind of ‘wanderlust’ with flexible work hour guidelines or adding extras into the travel budget that guarantee McDonalds isn’t the only option when the workday is done.
