Corona, remote work and what benefits it brings to our customers

Product implementation works wonderfully remotely! By the way, this was true even before pandemic times, even though remote working is inevitably becoming a trend right now. Our customers benefit all along the line, because we have various, secure ways to reach our customers' SAP systems all over the world. This is done depending on the customer's infrastructure and is agreed on an individual basis. It also saves our customers money, as the consultants do not have to be on site.

Security first

Whether we handle projects remotely or onsite, the security of data and systems must always be ensured. Here we show some of our options for delivering our service in a secure way:

Mercoline SAP Logon

  • Existing VPN route (the customer has already set up an existing VPN connection with us for EDI services, which we also use in coordination for SAP access).
  • Without VPN via our outbound SAP router and the inbound SAP router of the customer system (the certificate-based and also most secure route preferred by SAP).

Citrix

The customer provides the entire environment and ensures the necessary security.

External hardware

The customer provides set up clients or tokens.

Web portals

Team Viewer/MS Teams

This is mainly used for remote support of productive systems.

Flexibility since always

When it comes to implementing IT projects, Mercoline has always been a reliable and flexible partner. The professional life of IT consultants is traditionally very travel-intensive, but they also perform at full capacity remotely. So we don't consider the pandemic-related "digitalization booster" a disadvantage at all, but rather look forward to numerous new opportunities for collaboration with our customers and partners.
