Mercoline engagiert sich bei der Lebensmittelrettung auf der Fruit Logistica 2025
At this year's Fruit Logistica 2025, a team from Mercoline actively supported the Berliner Tafel food rescue campaign. Together with numerous helpers, 57,000 kilograms of food were saved from disposal and passed on to social organisations.
The campaign was organised by Berliner Tafel in cooperation with the THW, the Red Cross and the Berlin fire brigade. The structured and efficient sorting of the goods meant that the donated food could be distributed quickly. In addition, over 2,000 jars of jam were subsequently made from perishable fruit.
As Mercoline is regularly involved in social projects and is actively committed to sustainability, we are proud to have been part of this initiative once again. Thanks to everyone involved for their commitment. We are already looking forward to the next time!
