With just a few clicks to the electronic certificate of origin (eCO) - that's how the chambers of commerce see it, too. Many chambers of commerce are now reluctant to accept certificates of origin in person, and even if they do: processing them the traditional way takes longer. Since 2019, the chambers of commerce and industry have been offering a web application for digital application of the eCO.

In international trade as well as in goods traffic, the eUZ is used as a goods accompanying document and is specifically structured for each receiving country. The data required for the application is collected directly in the SAP system with the Mercoline solution, enriched and made available as an XML file. Now this file only has to be uploaded into the IHK application. Double data entry is no longer necessary.
