Since the beginning of December, customers of M.SecureTrade ATLAS have been able to rely on the current release 2311 to take into account the changes resulting from the IHB update of customs to AES 3.0.7 in their export processes.

As part of this, improvements have also been made to reporting and improved monitoring in the event of failed code list updates.  Under S/4HANA, it is now also possible to take into account default values for the commodity code that differ from the material master in the ATLAS document system. 

We also summarised some other new features for M.SecureTrade ATLAS in a webinar in December, the recording of which is available in our customer portal. 

The latest release 2311 for the management of supplier declarations with M.SecureTrade Preference Management supports you in mapping special agreements such as that of Turkey in the SAP system by expanding the support of country groups in a targeted manner. 

Plant-specific preference processing

There is good news for companies that want to manage preference processing differently in different plants:

The assignment of plants to purchasing organisations is taken into account transparently in the supplier declaration document - as well as when updating the preference data in the supplier master. In addition, defined plants can be specifically excluded when summarising supplier declarations.

Optimised form for supplier declarations

The optimised form for the supplier declaration also displays all information in a more space-saving way - and at the same time can be customised more extensively to include any additional information required.

Improvements in the customer-side supplier declaration area

Customers in the functional area of customer-side supplier declarations have received a number of improvements and new features with Release 2402. Even very extensive customer-side supplier declarations are processed much faster than before with this release: This is also directly noticeable for users, as the plant-dependent calculation results of the document are reloaded step by step for each material selection as required - a significant time saving!

New features and preview function

• With the new release, codings can be maintained, pre-assigned and printed in the document.
• The creation of documents for the customer-side supplier declaration can now be deliberately restricted to materials with an EU origin.
• The customer-side supplier declaration form has been expanded to include the origin criterion, the customer material number and the option of indicating a cancellation.
• The new preview function makes it easy to check documents before dispatch.

Future developments

Our next planned step: The preference calculation module will soon support the use of batches much more extensively in the product - accompanied by many other improvements!
